Why Didn't I Get a Payday Cash Loan?
Q. I've always heard that you can get payday cash loans even with less than perfect credit. Why was I turned down?
A. Payday cash loans provide a solution for those individuals that have had credit issues in the past, but there are some people who get denied. Some of the reasons are ones you cannot control:
A payday cash loan may not be available in the state you live in, such as Vermont, New York, Georgia or North Carolina. Something else that you may not be able to do anything about is your income. Most payday lenders require a verifiable minimum monthly income of $1,000. If you want to borrow $500 or more, your income must be above $1,000. Some lenders will only lend 15 percent of your monthly income depending on state laws. If you earn $1000, you can only borrow $150.
There are other factors in getting denied a payday cash loan that you can change. One requirement lenders have is that you have a checking account in good standing. If you have a history of overdrawing from your checking account, lenders may reject you. Make sure you don't bounce checks for at least four months and reapply.
You may not have your paycheck directly deposited. Some lenders do not deal with paper checks. If your paycheck isn't directly deposited, they will not lend to you. If you have the option at your job, you can sign up for direct deposit and reapply for the loan.
Another reason you may have been denied is that you have other payday cash loans you have not paid off.
These loans are not a long-term solution to your financial problems. They're meant to give you a short-term boost to get you through till your next paycheck. Only borrow as much as you can repay when you get your check. If you do this, payday cash loans can be a help when you need it.
